Principal’s Points:
Dr. Andy Hopkins is director for our after-school soccer program that started yesterday. Over twenty students are participating and you can still join. The lines are professionally drawn on the field, cones in place and a water station with canopy helped the players stay refreshed and active.

The fifth through eighth graders are having field trips to Grandfather’s Mountain this Tuesday and Thursday where they have an educational program on genotyping presented by the staff at the wildlife area. A swinging bridge overlook, gift shop and exhibits make this an amazing trip.

Next Sabbath the EAS Choir will share their talents and the program will be enhanced by our students giving the scripture and prayer.

VISION SCREENING
Dr. Kerri Hopkins is donating her time to conduct a vision screening for all EAS students on Thursday, September 26, at 1:00 PM. Please fill out the attached vision screening form and return it to school by Monday, September 23.

SPIRIT DAY
Our next Spirit Day is September 27. It will be “Sports Team Day”. This notice is to give you plenty of time to locate a shirt from your favorite team to show your support. September 27 will be a no uniform day for those who participate.
