Principal’s Points:
Angelic Voices Choir did a beautiful performance Sabbath by singing a “counting” song about our blessings. How appropriate for this time of giving! Thank you students in K-3rd grades, Mrs. Kathy Bailey and Mrs. Ramona Pender for a good job!

As a school, we have the opportunity to GIVE at this season of Thanksgiving. We have been approached by a care home to visit them and share some cheer over the holidays. Toiletries such as toothpaste, brushes, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, and such personal items for the residents are requested. In the school office you can place these items if you would like to contribute. Teach your child to be a giver by helping please!

On Veterans Day we celebrated by sending out over 100 cards to a platoon of soldiers serving in Kuwait via Haydence’s Auntie Yvonne who coordinated the effort. Great job everyone!

Please remember that Friday, November 15 is half a day of school due to required teacher meetings. School will dismiss at 11:30 AM and no uniform is required.

Spirit Day is fast approaching. The 22nd of November is “Mismatch Day”. There is plenty of time to start planning which mismatched clothes you will be wearing that day. Join the fun and share the laughs as we enjoy the creativity of each EAS student. School uniform will be worn for all who choose not to participate.

Our School-wide Thanksgiving Dinner will be Tuesday, November 26, in the gym @ 11:30 am. Bring a home lunch or order the traditional fare with a hot lunch. We are asking each family to bring one pie to share of their choice. Some of us are vegan, so if a few families could bring a vegan pie or vegan vanilla ice cream that would be appreciated. Ice cream will be free to all for a special dessert with the pies. Parents, if you are going to order hot lunch please make your reservation in the school office.

There will no school November 27-29 due to Thanksgiving Break. The Daycare will be open on Wednesday from 7:00-6:00 pm. School and Daycare will resume on Monday, December 2.

Please mark December 7 on your calendars. All students in grades K-8 will participate in providing special music for the church service on that day. More details will follow closer to the event. You will not want to miss the blessing from hearing our school perform!

Do you want a great cutlery product to give for the holidays with 20% off and 40% going to a good cause: the 7th and 8th graders? Well, go online to “RadaFundRaising.com” and order under our group: Eddlemon Adventist School. You’ll love the product and we’ll love you for helping!!
