March Birthdays
8 Happy Birthday, Sarah Flores

THANK YOU
Eddlemon’s Kids Praise did a spectacular job performing for the church service this past weekend. Thanks, grades 4-8, for representing our school well!

MATH TUTORING
There will be no math tutoring on Thursday, March 5, due to the Music Festival. We will resume on Tuesday, March 10.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT….
Dr. Barry Black spoke for the Spartanburg SDA Church service on February 29. If you missed it and would like to hear his sermon, you can watch it online by going to the Spartanburg SDA live stream YouTube site. You will be greatly blessed.

ROUNDUP/VISITATION DAY
A total of seven students visited for the morning on February 28. Activities were planned in all of the rooms in preparation for our guests and for current students advancing to a new classroom in the fall. Please continue to spread the word about our great school. Thank you for your continued prayers for EAS.

REMINDER
Please remember to adjust your clocks this weekend for Daylight Saving Time. March 8 (at 2:00 a.m.) is the official date that the clocks will be set forward one hour. The rule for adjusting clocks for daylight saving time is this: “Spring-forward, Fall-back.”

ACCELERATED READER
With grades 4-8 being off campus on Friday (MPA Music Festival), grades K-3 will be having an AR Read-a-Thon that day. Your child will read Accelerated Reader books throughout the day. Bring a small blanket to lie on and a small, stuffed reading buddy to school on Friday. No Uniform required that day.

MUSIC FESTIVAL
Miss Bailey will be at school on Thursday and Friday for any students who are not attending the Music Festival. Thursday and Friday are both counted as school days. No Uniform required Friday only.

AUTHORIZED PICK-UP LIST
Please take the time to come in to the school office and update your authorized pick-up list and make any changes or additions to reflect those who may pick your child up from school.  EAS will only send students home with individuals who are on the pick-up list. Any new drivers must be prepared to show a driver’s license when he/she picks up your child for the first time.  Thank you for taking care of this soon.

SAVE THE DATE
Pastor Ross Knight will be ordained at the Spartanburg SDA Church on Sabbath, May 2, 2020, at 4:00 P.M. Let’s show our support by reserving this date and sharing this special service with him!

END OF 3RD QUARTER
Third Quarter ends on Friday, March 6.  Let’s continue to encourage each student to finish the quarter strong.  Parent/Teacher Conference notices will be sent home later in March.

7th AND 8th GRADE FUNDRAISERS
