10 Happy Birthday, Caylee Shaffer
24 Happy Birthday, Joshua Greaves

Principal’s Points:
Dwight L. Moody, a famous evangelist, said, “I believe in a faith that you can see: a living, working faith that prompts action. Faith without works is like a man putting all his money into the foundation of a house; and works without faith is like building a house on sand without any foundation.” We have decided to collect a mission offering each Friday Chapel. It is for the kids to bring their monies, not the parents, to Jesus. Bring a quarter or some offering each Friday kids to place in our mission jar! We will vote on where our offering will go this semester. We want to put our faith into action and do some good!

SPIRIT DAY
Spirit Day is fast approaching. The 28nd of February is “Crazy Hat Day”. There is plenty of time to start planning which crazy hat  you will be wearing that day. Join the fun and share the laughs as we enjoy the creativity of each EAS student. School uniform will be worn for all who choose not to participate.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
Watch WSPA channel 7 for potential school closings.  EAS does not automatically follow Spartanburg County.  There are times the county closes for reasons that do not apply to us.  However, the safety of our students and families are always of utmost concern.  If it is unsafe to be on the roads where you live, please remain at home where it is safe.

** If you need the services of the daycare, please also watch WSPA channel 7 for their daycare closings.  The daycare may not necessarily coincide with our hours during inclement weather.
