Thought for the Day
“Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” — Jeremiah 33:3

EAS Handbell Choir and Eddlemon Kids Praise Choir in grades 4-8 will be leading the worship service on October 13, Sabbath (Saturday) morning. Meet in the choir room at 10:00 a.m.

Please come and support our 7th and 8th grade fundraiser this Saturday, October 13, at 7:00 pm at the gym. We will have hot dogs, chili, chips and desserts.

EAS was inspected for asbestos for this year and the school pass.

Fall Picnic
Fall Picnic is Sunday, October 14 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. It will count as a school day. We will be having a fun social time with field games, snacks, family, and friends. Please bring your favorite snacks for the “snack pot luck” table. Water bottles will be provided for the students.

Field Trip T-Shirts
If your child has outgrown his/her orange field trip shirt, please send the old one so we will replace it free of charge. If your student has not yet received one, please notify the office to ensure your students name and size are on the list we are gathering.

We will have our class-on-class Boxtops competition starting Monday, October 8 through Monday, October 15. Check packages that are in your cupboards, ask your family, friends, neighbors and coworkers. Please remember to check the expiration dates before sending them in. Each child should send in their boxtops in a ziploc type baggie or a sealed envelope labeled with their name. The classroom with the most box tops will win an ice cream party and will get to have a no uniform day!

The information about our annual Florida Citrus Sale was sent home with your children on
Wednesday. This fruit makes a great gift for family, friends, neighbors and co-workers and will arrive just in time for Christmas! If you have any questions please email Heather Colburn at or call the school office at (864) 576-2234. The deadline to turn in order forms will be November 6, 2018, and the fruit will be delivered between the dates of December 3-15, 2018 with an exact date to be determined closer to that time. The student who sells the most boxes will win an Amazon gift card!
